Meet the Book
"From: Eliza, To: Macie" is a kind and beautiful Christmas picture book that is two stories in one! Discover the joy of giving and receiving from the perspectives of two girls, Eliza and Macie.
Both stories begin showing the girls working on their Christmas lists, but Eliza's looks much different than Macie's. While Eliza excitedly adds lots of items to her list, Macie is busy crossing items off. Find out how both girls discover joy at Christmas despite their different circumstances.
This book was written for Toys-for-Tots to bring awareness to their amazing mission, and also support it as a portion of the book proceeds go directly to purchasing toys for kids at Christmas.
This book will officially launch in November, but a pre-order campaign will be launching in September on Kickstarter with exclusive items and fun bonuses.
I loved this book! It truly brings the spirit of giving to life with the stories of Eliza and Macie and how they each find joy in varying circumstances. The story highlights emotions that are relatable, sincere, honest, and age-appropriate. I appreciate that the author creatively acknowledges the real-life challenges that often accompany parental attempts to encourage selflessness. The illustrations help you feel how joy can spread as we serve others, even if there is resistance or hesitation at first. This parallel story emphasizes inclusivity, giving, and ultimately JOY!
