Brainspotting Sessions
A Portal to Healing, Spirituality, and Growth

You can name it.
You just can't
drop in alone.
You know exactly what's happening. You can describe it, name it, trace its edges. And still — you keep getting caught in the logic of it, circling the surface. That's not failure. That's just how we're wired. We weren't meant to drop in alone.
We need a witness. A journeymate. A co-regulator — someone to hold space, reflect back, and help unlock what's already inside you. I'm no guru, and I'm not here to fix you. I'm here to journey with you. (And yes, I sometimes call my Brainspotting pointer a magic wand. Because honestly? It kind of is.)
Is This For You
Something in you
already knows.
You probably didn't land here by accident. Something — a nudge, a restlessness, a quiet knowing that you've been carrying something too long alone — brought you here. That counts for something.
This work is for people who are somewhere in the middle of their own story. Not broken. Not finished. Just navigating the tender, sometimes disorienting space between who you were and who you're becoming.
You've outgrown who you were but haven't fully arrived as who you're becoming
You can name what's in the way — and still can't seem to move it
You're carrying grief — for a person, a version of yourself, a life that changed
Your body holds something your mind keeps trying to logic away
You're building something meaningful and it's heavier than you expected
You want depth, not just symptom relief — soul, not just strategy
You're ready to stop going it alone

"You don't need someone to fix you or a map to follow. You need a companion who knows the woods — and understands that your path is entirely your own."
What looks like stuckness is often something else entirely — grief that hasn't had a witness, a transition that didn't get its ceremony, a part of you that's been waiting patiently to be heard. Brainspotting doesn't push or pull. It creates the conditions for what's already inside you to move.
You are your own best expert. I'm just here to help you remember that.
I was able to communicate with my inner child as she would ask me questions, but also gave me the permission to process in silence, or out loud. I left feeling so much more open, relaxed, and connected. I needed to relieve my mental blockages to do this! You’ve helped me so much!

Your First Session
There's no one right way to experience Brainspotting. Some people process silently. Others talk throughout. Most do both, depending on the day. You're free to follow your own rhythm — because that's exactly the point.
Set an intention
A theme, an emotion, a physical sensation — or simply arriving open. You don't need to know what you're looking for yet.
Find the brainspot
I'll gently guide you toward a gaze position that feels connected to what you're noticing in your body. (Yes, this is where the magic wand comes out.)
Tune in & process
Your body and nervous system lead. Emotions, sensations, memories, insights — or simply stillness — arise. There's nothing you need to make happen.
Integration keeps going
Processing continues after the session. Your brain and body keep doing their quiet, beautiful work between our meetings. Trust it.
What might you feel?
Every experience is different. Some common ones:
Emotional release — tears, laughter, a long exhale
Warmth, tingling, or sensations shifting
A stillness that feels different from numbness
Memories surfacing — gently, not urgently
Clarity arriving after discomfort
Quiet shifts in the days that follow
Creative sparks or unexpected spiritual openings
The sense that something that was stuck has moved
Whatever arises is valid.
You are your own best expert. Always.

Why I Do This Work
When language
wasn't enough
I came to Brainspotting the way a lot of people come to the things that change them — through the side door of my own grief. After my parents died, something strange happened. I'd spent nearly 30 years learning to know myself — refining the art of noticing what I needed, thought, and felt. But in the raw aftermath of loss, that inner compass went dark.
Words, which had always been my home, weren't big enough. I was a therapist, a writer, a lifelong meaning-maker. And I couldn't find language for any of it.
"The sense of panic-fear jolted me. After decades of inner work, I had no clue — what I could or couldn't do; what I did or did not need; what I thought or felt. I was five. No, I was 45. Or I don't know."
That's when Brainspotting became more than a tool I was training in. It became a lifeline. One session shifted something foundational — moved me from curious practitioner to full believer in its mysterious capacity to unlock the healing that already lives inside us.
I don't come to this work from a textbook. I come to it from the woods. I know what it's like to be lost in them. And I've learned — you don't have to find your way out alone.
