For this beautiful organic womens dress, I used stonewashed linen fabric, which is incredibly soft and gentle to your skin.

I wanted to encapsulate rawness and elegance at the same time, so i made the dress in natural linen color only. As you can see in the pictures, it has a brown-grey tone, which i find absolutely ethereal. Wearing this dress, i always feel like a goddess, empowered in my feminine power.

At the back, there is an adjustable tie string, that gives you complete control over the fit of the upper part of the dress. This ensures maximal comfort even if the fabric itself doesn't have elasticity. It can be worn completely loose or gently tailored, whichever way you prefer. And even more, it is also appropriate for the moms-to-be, like you can see in the pictures below.

With the string, I also avoided the need for a zipper or any kind of elastics, so the design is really natural and reminiscent of the ancient times.

Why linen fabric?

It is super breathable, antibacterial, hypoallergenic & 100 % biodegradable. It regulates temperature wonderfully (it cools you, when its hot and warms you when its cold) and absorbs moisture very efficiently. Besides that, linen garments last for a very long time and only get softer, as they age.

And why OEKO-TEX certificate?

Because it ensures, that linen fabric doesn't contain toxins, harmful for your health. Linen, although a natural fabric, often contains harmful chemicals, that are used in the production process, especially for:

1. retting process (seperation of flax fibers from the stalks),

2. bleaching &

3. dyeing.

This harmful chemicals then pose risk during skin contact and also contribute to overall environmental pollution. That is why it is so important to choose ecologically certified fabric, that has undergone multiple tests to prove its safety for human and enironmental health. I really want to raise the consciousness about the impact of our consumer decisions, because they do matter. 🤍
