Thank you for your interest in joining the Launch Team for Lifting the Curse, Vol. I: Guardian of the Magick. This is a book whose time has truly come; a book that's designed to teach hidden truths about life to the masses thru the medium of fiction, done in an exciting, entertaining way. Years in the making and seemingly beset by long delays and many false starts, in truth, it's coming out at the perfect time, as people were not "ready" until now to absorb the powerful truths communicated within; truths we are never told about in school or on the TV.
The 5-star Goodreads reviews of a four-chapter sample given out almost ten years ago appear to agree with the above assessment:
Exquisitely conceptualized, executed, and written in an edge-of-your-seat, what-comes-next style that you can't put down. Actual TRUTH and knowledge exist inside this brilliantly authored e-book, in an easy-to-digest format, effortlessly teaching you while entertaining. I can't wait to read the next chapter.
- Eric Raines
Reveals much needed hidden truths to mankind, delivered in an entertaining and fictional format for best digestibility. Can't wait to read the next chapter.
- Shane Fowler
(Note: the reason they both said they can't wait for the "next chapter" is because, at the time, the intention was to serialize the book, i.e. to release it in four or maybe even six small chunks, hence why the first "chunk" had been given out for free in order to generate interest. So those who'd read the free first installment were expecting more of these short installments, which they called "chapters" in their reviews. Please don't let this wording confuse you, however. As it stands, the novel is split into two volumes [hence the "Volume 1" subtitle], due to its considerable length. So it is not being released in "chapters," "parts" or "installments," but just two, standard-novel-sized volumes. And there are another eight sequels in this planned, nine-part saga, so if you end up liking the first book, then you'll need to strap yourself in for a lifetime of non-stop fun and adventure! But for now, let's focus on the first entry. This clarification was necessary because people often wrongly assume the book is serialized due to the particular wording of these old reviews.)
As can be seen from the above reviews, the book can often have a profound effect on people, compelling them to enthusiastically spread the word to others. And please keep in mind that these reviews are only on the first four chapters of a book that has a total of 42 chapters (split between Volume I, which has 15, and Volume 2, which has 27), a gigantic, painstakingly written glossary with over 200 terms, as well as several detailed appendices.
Truth be told, the first four chapters are pretty tame compared to the rest of the book, which continues to build in momentum and complexity, leading to a spectacular, earth-shaking climax with several large-scale battles across the planet. Imagine, then, how much more impressed these reviewers would have been had they read the entire thing.
So if you want to experience this epic book for yourself, take the plunge and join the launch team!
Below are the steps you need to take to join:
1. You must buy a copy of the book on Amazon (don't worry, it'll only be priced at 99c), as Amazon only accepts reviews for "verified purchases." So, although a necessary evil, it's a rather inexpensive one.
2. After buying the book on Amazon, you then sign up for the launch team thru the form below.
3. Lastly, upon successful completion of the form, you'll get access to the private Facebook group where everything will be coordinated from. Members will be able to interact, share their initial impressions of the book, offer marketing ideas, etc. You will also be getting a weekly email that recaps each stage of the launch team campaign.
Upon signing up in Step 2, you'll get a free digital review copy of the book in your preferred format (PDF, epub or mobi). You will then have a maximum of two months to read it (this is plenty of time, especially for a book that most readers "can't put down") so that you can write an Amazon review during its official launch week in May 2024. Should you happen to finish it sooner, feel free to write a Goodreads review (if you don't know how, don't worry: detailed, step-by-step instructional videos on how to write both Amazon and Goodreads reviews will be emailed to you; it's actually very easy). Unlike with Amazon, Goodreads reviews can be written at any time, as Goodreads is merely a book database and not a bookstore. This means you can write a Goodreads review for a book even if it's not out yet.
So these are the basics to get you started! Further details will be given as we go along, both thru email and thru the Facebook group.

Note: you must purchase the ebook on Amazon first in order to qualify for joining the Launch Team. This is not done to "sell books" to a handful of Launch Team members at the astronomical price of 99c and then retire to a private island. It's because of Amazon's strict book review policy: they only accept reviews for "verified purchases." So if you don't buy the ebook, the entire point of joining the Launch Team (i.e. to write an honest, verified review on Amazon) is rendered moot. Also, please make sure to enter your real email because otherwise the double opt-in authentication will not work and the software will be unable to add you to the Launch Team.
