II'm Marie, also known as Rosa Lea, a Canal Art artist, community creative, and founder of Rosa Lea's Paint Studio in Essex. My work is reared in a deep love for traditional Roses & Castles folk art, which I have had the honour of studying under Phil Speight MBE, one of the UK's most respected Art Masters.
Inspired by British heritage and my Caribbean roots, I've spent the last few years guiding others to reconnect with themselves through brushwork, storytelling and shared moment of creativity. Whether through home decor pieces in person workshops, online courses, or as a retreat practitioner. I help people slow down breathe, and find joy in simple strokes of paint
I have been featured in Yomu digital magazine, invited to teach at retreat across Europe and proudly received the Lawrence Walker Community Award for the impact of my creative work. Now I'm following a long held dream to bring this art form and all the peace is offers. to Saint Lucia
