Welcome to my world!
Let’s look at the world through the lens of fantasy, where gods rule, devotees protect, healers are banished, and a few souls stand against it, even if scared and even if weak.

What Belter Is About
Belter is the first novella in the Devoted to the Eight series, an epic fantasy series.
In a world ruled by eight gods, while their devotees maintain The Order and fight demons using the powers granted by their deities, my series follows those who are not considered heroes. My protagonists are people driven by simple desires; revenge, freedom, survival. They do not hunt the demons outside the walls seeking glory or fame. They don’t even recognize demons as humanity’s greatest threat. Instead, they look inward; inside the cities, within the lines of The Order, and in the actions of the devotees themselves.
My story follows those who rebel against the gods, those who resist The Order, and those who suffer just for the taste of a normal life.
Belter tells the backstory of one of the main protagonists in the series; Arnic, a boy whose world changed forever so that his mother could achieve her dreams. Yet fate gave him a choice: Would he forgive those who used him, or take revenge?
"For those of us from the Belt, nothing comes for free."
Sheila Ahurani
Author of the Devoted to the Eight series
I feel like the world is wrapped in a beautiful lie. While most people go through life happy, without worrying about the future, some of us struggle every day just to survive, feeling the weight of harsh rules pressing down on us, letting us breathe only a shallow breath.
My book is about those lies and the people who search for the truth. About those who suffer, and those who uphold the rules.
I don’t want to say much about myself. Just another shadow reaching for the light, disappearing the moment the sun touches it. Maybe one day I’ll tell my story, about the girl I live as, but not yet. If you want to know me, you can find me between the lines of my book and in the thoughts of my characters.
