About your host
👋 Hey, I’m Nicky! I’m a Business Strategist and the founder of Empowered Live.
I work with established business owners who are successful but stuck. They've built something real, but somewhere along the way the business has started to consume them - their time, their energy, their confidence. They can't see the wood for the trees and because they're doing it all alone, there's no one to think it through with.
I came from an accountancy background, which means I understand how businesses actually work commercially and financially. But I was always drawn to the forward-thinking side. The strategy and the decisions that actually move things forward. I'm also a qualified NLP practitioner, which means my work sits at the intersection of strategy and mindset. Because having a clear plan means very little if you don't have the confidence to act on it.
I created Empowered Live because I kept hearing the same thing from business owners. They'd spent a day at an event, paid good money for it, and come home feeling more overwhelmed than when they left.
