I’m Ryder Elkin, and I’m 17 years old.
On October 18th, 2023, my dad went into sudden cardiac arrest. Thanks to Hands-Only CPR, we celebrated his 50th birthday together as a family last year.
Since then, I’ve been working with the American Heart Association to raise awareness and teach others this lifesaving skill. It’s simple. It’s fast. And it’s something anyone can learn — because it really can mean the difference between life and death.
At this open house training, you will learn the three essential steps in Hands-Only CPR and practice compressions on mannequins. You’ll gain the confidence you need to take action in an emergency, and maybe save someone you love!
