You don't need another strategy. You need colleagues who understand.

Twice-monthly conversations where cultural professionals share what actually works when resources are limited and expectations are infinite.

Available in English and Croatian

Founding member rate €35/month until Nov 28 (then €70/month) • No obligation to sign up

The Reality

→ "Just do better social media." (As if Instagram reels will solve your heating costs)
→ "Find more sponsors." (You already asked. All of them. Twice.)
→ "Be more innovative." (With what budget? Which staff member?)

Sound familiar?

You're a museum director, gallery manager, curator, or cultural staff member. You love what you do. But lately, you're spending more time justifying your existence than actually doing the work.

The real problems nobody talks about:

  • Choosing between conserving the collection OR marketing it (never both)

  • Three people doing the work of ten

  • Grant applications taking 40 hours for maybe €5,000

  • "Flexible work hours" meaning you never stop working

The advice you get from consultants? It assumes resources you'll never have.

What is the Cultural Coffee Club?

Cultural Coffee Club isn't another professional development program.

Think of it as having coffee with colleagues who get it. Except these colleagues have solutions, not just sympathy.

It's NOT:

❌ A masterclass in going viral
❌ A content strategy workshop
❌ Someone telling you to "just work smarter"
❌ Aspirational advice from people who've never managed on your budget

It IS:

✓ A support group for cultural professionals dealing with impossible choices
✓ Twice-monthly 60-minute Zoom sessions tackling your actual day-to-day problems
✓ A WhatsApp/Discord group for immediate reality checks
✓ Conversations with people who understand that "doing more with less" has become "doing everything with nothing"

The Conversations We're Having

Not this: "10 Instagram strategies to boost engagement!"
But this: "How do you explain to your board that your marketing person is already working 50-hour weeks?

Not this: "Innovative fundraising approaches!"
But this: "What do you do when every grant requires 'sustainability' that nobody funded in the first place?"

  • You're looking for magic solutions that ignore resource constraints

  • You expect a template that will "fix everything"

  • You're not willing to be honest about what's actually happening

JOIN THE WAITING LIST

After the groups are formed:

Cancel anytime. No long-term commitment. Because the last thing you need is another financial burden you can't escape.

What you get:

  • 2 × 60-minute Zoom sessions monthly

  • Access to WhatsApp/Discord community

  • Direct access to me between sessions for urgent questions

  • Connection with other cultural professionals who actually understand your reality

  3. You'll have a chance to ask questions before committing

  4. No payment until you decide this is right for you

The math is simple: You can keep pretending you have resources you don't have, or you can join a space where honesty is the starting point, not the failure.

P.S. If you're reading this thinking "finally, someone said it"—you're exactly who this is for.

ABOUT

Who's Hosting these Coffee Dates?

Hi, I'm Dora.

I've spent 14+ years in the cultural sector—curator, consultant, gallery director, educator. I've curated numerous exhibitions, written grant applications that took weeks for funding, and dealt with leaking roofs during exhibition openings.

I started DLightful Services because I was tired of watching talented professionals burn out from impossible expectations.

The Cultural Coffee Club exists because we need spaces where we can be honest about what's actually happening in our institutions—without judgment, without corporate jargon, without pretending everything's fine.

We're all doing our best with what we have. Let's share what actually works when nothing should.
