Welcome to Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre
Where children can experience Owls and Birds of Prey through our home education programmes

Help children learn about Birds of Prey and conservation through our home education short courses, talks and tours.
Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre offers tailored programmes to suit those in home education or specialist education settings. We work with the Birds of Prey and Owls here at the centre covering topics such as adaptation, habitats, predators, nocturnal birds, senses, and conservation. We introduce the children to the birds, allowing them to see up close the beauty of characters such as the Barn Owls and Kestrels.
Our on-site classroom allows us to provide a well-rounded termly provision for home educated children in small groups, adding to their education journey and teaching them about conservation and British wildlife.
We also offer off site visits for groups and education settings such as forest school.
Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre offers off site visits with our beautiful Birds of Prey and Owls, covering topics such as adaptation, habitats, predators, nocturnal birds, senses, and conservation. This can take the form of a structured assembly style talk or a more relaxed meeting in great outdoors but everything is tailored to the age group and subject.
Our team can visit also schools, WI, Scouts, Brownies, Beavers, Cubs, Rainbows, Environmental Groups, Church groups, and Social Groups.
