Abundant Edible Gardens

  • Do you struggle with the timing of sowing veg seeds (and then the slugs eat them anyway!) and want an easier way to grow food?
  • Would you love to to add MORE food to your garden with LESS work?
  • Have you dreamed of growing food for years,  but you feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start?

Do you want a beautiful, edible garden that works in harmony with nature, to grow an abundance of food, that is also super easy to look after?

Whether you have a large garden or a small yard, join me for this online workshop to find out how!

What is a food forest, and why do you need one in your garden, yard or even balcony?

A food forest or forest garden is a self sustaining eco system, modelled on a natural woodland, but with more food!

It is the ultimate beautiful, sustainable, low maintenence and productive garden, practiced by ancient peoples for milennia, and now gaining popularity in the modern world.

Consisting of layers - tree, shrub, herbaceous, groundcovers, roots and climbers, effectively using all of your space.

Much easier and quicker than growing just annual vegetables: perennial plants live for many years, and are much more tough and resilient to pests and weather conditions.

(You can also include annual veg and flowers within your food forest)

Super low maintenence! Once the garden is set up, it needs minimal inputs or maintenence, just occasional weeding or pruning. Just like a natural woodland, everything needed is created within the system. Even if you do no gardening for years, it will still be productive!

A foragers garden: As opposed to lots of growing and nurturing of plants, you will spend your time picking and eating highly nutrituous superfoods, such as soft fruit, herbs, edible flowers, leafy greens and perennial vegetables from your garden.

Works on any scale: You can create your food forest in a border, with full size or dwarfing trees, or even in pots.

A beautiful, nourishing space: Because of the different heights, textures and colours, a food forest is beautiful, and also great for wildlife. You can even mix it in to your ornamental borders.

Natural health and abundance:
This kind of garden is very resilient in the face of extremes of climate, and the diversity means that there is always something in abundance.

Works well alongside a vegetable patch, or instead of vegetables for busy people.
