"I specialize in crafting West Coast and Northern Cali beats, bringing that signature bounce and raw energy that define the region. I was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Inspired by legends like E-40, AZ Chike, and Mozzy, my production blends hard-hitting basslines, knocking drums, and smooth melodies for that authentic Cali sound. While West Coast music is my foundation, I also produce a range of hip-hop styles—from trap to boom bap—ensuring I’ve got the right beat to match any artist’s vision. I fully produced I Was Patient, a 6-track EP by bobstract, which pushed me completely outside my West Coast realm, showcasing my versatility across different sounds and styles."

For Bobstract, this project represents more than just music—it’s a return to authenticity. Having started his journey at 15 under the name Kid Swift, his early aspirations were shaped by things he no longer identifies with 15 years later. The name change reflects that evolution, a conscious effort to distance himself from the ego-driven motivations of his past.
