More questions?
Didn't this used to be on Substack? It was so much easier!
Yes it was. Free and easy for me, too! But companies like Substack (as with Facebook, as with Twitter, etc.) have a primary goal of commodifying your attention and data. As the world gets weirder and more corporate, I'm trying to move my content to places where the terms are clear and I control what's done with not only my information, but yours.
Aren't you going to try to sell me stuff?
Not in the way you're thinking. My newsletters will of course have links to my books or any classes or workshops I'm doing. But I won't use this list for any other direct marketing or solicitation.
How do I keep this from going to my spam folder?
When you get your first edition (check your spam folder if you don't see it), use your email application to mark it as trustworthy. In Outlook it might say "trust this sender." In gmail, you can click "not spam" if it put it there, or even make a filter to make sure it gets to your inbox. Other email apps will have other processes.
What will you do with my email address?
Nothing but send you this newsletter 4-6 times per year. I will not sell or share your email. I don't use MailerLite's optional tracking features. I don't even really look at subscription and unsubscription data as far as who is doing what, just the overall numbers.
