I've travelled to North Korea, Turkmenistan and Mongolia with Koryo and all trips have been fantastic. They take you off the beaten track to places many tourists don't normally get to and have excellent local guides to fill in the detail. The tour leaders have been exceptionally well-informed and just great people to interact with. I keep coming back for more great experiences of the weird and the wonderful, and look forward to future trips with Koryo.

"Best in the business" The Koryo Group, with the experience and expertise of founder Nick Bonner and manager Simon Cockerell, has provided me with 3 very satisfactory, surprising, enjoyable and efficiently run tours of the DPRK; one group and two private. Given that you can't get to Pyongyang without an approved guide, Koryo Group should be your first choice. They even presented me with a cake to celebrate my birthday when it occurred on my last tour, which almost compensated for Simon's sometimes caustic dismissal of my opinions concerning the quotidiana of DPRK life.
