Why take a mindfulness course?

the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course (MBSR) is an internationally recognised and trusted training

it can provide a solid foundation to become aware of and better respond to the stress in our lives

it's a systematic training delivered in a supportive group setting by a certified mindfulness trainer

the course is originally developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D at the Stress Reduction clinic, University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center (US)

the weekly sessions are intended to create a structured pathway to help relieve suffering and increase wellbeing

mindfulness meditation and mindful hatha yoga as well as the reflections and (optional) sharing offer opportunities to explore something new, or deepen an existing practice

the instruction and home assignments help you work with your own internal resources and abilities to respond more effectively to stress, pain, and illness

the course is designed to guide you in “how” to practice, integrate, and apply mindfulness in your everyday life

All sessions, including the Orientation and Half-day Retreat will take place live online, via Zoom. Please ensure you have a stable enough connection to have your video on.



This course will take place on the following dates:

1-hour Orientation (revised date): Monday 15 Sept 19.00 - 20.00 CET (optional)

8 weekly sessions: 25 Sept, 2 Oct, 9 Oct, 16 Oct, 23 Oct & 30 Oct, 6 Nov, 13 Nov 19.00 - 21.15 CET

Half-day Mindfulness Retreat: Sunday 2 Nov 15.00 - 18.30 CET

About Lorinda

Lorinda Brinton is a certified mindfulness and yoga teacher.

Her interest in wellness and well-being began more than 20 years ago, with a deep pull and curiosity toward self-awareness and ongoing self-development.

Lorinda's 125+ hours of mindfulness, movement & yoga, meditation and mindful eating sessions have been delivered to colleagues and community members (both group and private) have been well-attended with positive feedback.

Terms and Conditions

Each course will only run with a minimum number of registered participants, so please register no later than 19.00 CET on Friday 19 September to secure your spot.

Registration is only confirmed once the Registration details have been submitted and payment is received in full and. No refunds will be made for cancellations after the minimum registration deadline. If a course is cancelled, or if the trainer feels the course is not an appropriate fit for a participant at the given moment in time, the relevant participant(s) will be notified and payment refunded.

By registering as a participant in a course you agree to the following:

- I understand that yoga, stretching, physical movement, breath work, mindfulness, meditation and other associated activities can include physical movements as well as an opportunity for pain and body awareness, relaxation, stress re-education and relief of muscular and emotional tension. As is the case with any physical and emotional activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated.

- I will make the instructor aware of any medical conditions, physical limitations or psychological disorders before each session. If I experience any pain or discomfort during an event or course offered by Lorinda I will listen to my body, discontinue the activity, and ask for support from the instructor. I assume full responsibility for any and all damages, which may occur through my choice to participate.
