Announcements

Today is the culmination of our Black History Worship Experiences, and we are Celebrating Black Art. Our speaker is Dr. Carlton P. Byrd, our special music will be given by our TDP Youth Choir, and we welcome our special guest, Dr. Harry Robinson, Founder and President Emeritus of the Dallas African American Museum.

Tomorrow, March 1st, the Southwest Region Conference Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministries will host “Rebuild,” the 2026 Virtual Leadership Summit for Youth & Young Adults. All Pathfinders, Adventurers, Young Adult, Public Campus, Singles, and Bible Bowl Ministry leaders and members are invited to attend practical workshops, leadership discussions, strategic planning sessions, team building moments, and encouragement and fellowship opportunities. Registration is open on the Southwest Region Conference website, southwestregionsda.org. For more information, please email [email protected].

Next Sabbath, March 7th, “The Dallas Project” will host the North Central Texas Youth Federation. The Federation theme is, “Be the Example,” and will feature special guest speaker, Christyn Byrd, along with special musical guests, the “Dynamic Praise” Choir of Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL. There will also be a Conference-Wide Pathfinder Club Showcase at 3:30 pm, a Dynamic Praise musical concert at 5:00 pm, and Fellowship Social at 7:00 pm. All church members, especially youth, are invited to attend.

Mid-Week Worship will be held this Wednesday, March 4th, beginning at 7:00 pm. Please plan to be in attendance and invite your family and friends to discover the tools to move from “concept” to the “abundant life” reality that Jesus has promised! Be sure to make Mid-Week Worship a priority for spiritual growth, fellowship, and power as you experience stirring testimonies, music, prayer, and the Spoken Word. We look forward to seeing you this Wednesday!

TDP Mass Choir Rehearsal takes place each Friday evening at 7:00 pm. The next choir rehearsal will be held this Friday, March 6th. All church members and community residents are invited to be a part of the choir.

Contribution receipts for 2025 are available immediately following the Worship Experience today or via email from the TDP Treasury Department. To request your receipts via email, please email [email protected] and provide your name and preferred email address.

Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) funding is available for Southwest Christian Academy (SWCA) students. For eligible families, TEFA funding provides approximately $10,000 per child for approved private school tuition for the 2026-27 school year. TEFA Funds aim to support families with private school tuition and educational expenses. Parent applications for TEFA funds are currently being accepted through March 17th. For more information, please contact the SWCA Principal, Dr. Violet Dean.

Student sponsors are needed to contribute $100.00 monthly to provide Christian Education for students facing financial challenges at Southwest Christian Academy.  If you would like to sponsor a child monthly or make a monetary contribution to support a student in need, please contact Dr. Violet Dean.  Kindly feel free to remit your charitable gift to our school through your normal church giving and label it “Southwest Christian Academy” or “Southwest Adventist Junior Academy” (SWAJA).

All ladies of “The Dallas Project” are invited to join the virtual Sabbath Morning Manna Book Club each Sabbath morning at 6:00 am. The new book of study is, “The Courage to Change,” (Saying Goodbye to Good Enough and Embracing the Promise of What Can Be) by Christian Author and Motivational Speaker, Joyce Meyer. The facilitator is Gloria Leach. To join by telephone, please call 701.802.5419, and the access code is 1616232.

The film, “He Heard My Cry,” by Rolando Macharia is a heart wrenching memoir of finding God in the midst of addiction. TDP’s own, Caeden Cornett, is featured in this film along with being a vocalist on soundtrack. The “Red Carpet” Premier will be held Sunday, May 17th, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and the event is open to the public via Eventbrite ticket sales. Let’s support Caeden in this awesome endeavor. For more information, please visit www.eventbrite.com.

We have entered a new year, and all youth ages 10 to 17 are invited to join our TDP Pathfinder Club! Club meetings are on the second Sabbath afternoons of each month at 3:00 pm and the fourth Sundays of each month at 10:00 am. For more information, please see Bro. Bruno Taylor or Pastor Wesley McNorton.

A support group is being formed to provide special assistance to parents and children with Special Needs during our Worship Experiences and other church events. Interested members and friends are invited to participate in this pilot program.  For more information, please contact Connie Green at 972.489.3045.

Children’s Choir rehearsal, for children ages three to ten, is held on the 1st and 3rd Sabbaths of each month at 11:00 am. For more information, please contact Lisa Ayala at 214.685.5700.

Every 1st and 3rd Sabbaths of the month, we have Children’s Church here at “The Dallas Project” for children ages three to ten in the Music Room.
