Info and Logistics
Tickets for sale (for participants): 30 (maybe up to 50) participant tickets available for this edition
15-16 facilitators/team members will be approved
Location and travel logistics:
Venue: Villa Gric in Trpanj, Peljesac Peninsula, Croatia
Nearest airports: Dubrovnik (DBV) or Split (SPU)
Transfer: approximately 250-350 Euros per vehicle one way with private driver (can be shared), or about same amount for a compact rental car for the week (please note, these are estimates based on last year’s prices, these are all subject to change), there are also rather inexpensive (ca. 30-40 Euros) public transport options from both Dubrovnik and Split, which take around 3-4 hours. These involve busses and ferries. All very exciting and beautiful routes to travel.
If you arrive by air travel, please plan to arrive at least before noon on the 31/8. Your earliest takeoff time on departure day should be after 1pm.
What you get:
· Free accommodation (double, triple and quadruple sharing with other team members) free breakfast, and kitchen use (valued 350 Euro)
· I’m currently discussing with a chef to make optional (paid) meals available for those who would like to not have to think about food during the festival. Updates will follow.
· Being part of an inspiring community of women facilitators, artists, practitioners, and of a project that will be of huge impact for women and how we are in the world.
· Free participation in all festival offerings (except those specifically advertised as paid, such as 1:1 sessions)
· Opportunity to showcase yourself and your work
· Opportunity to uplevel your own work. One of the most cited takeaways from last year’s facilitators was how, due to the fact that someone else (me) was masterfully holding the whole structure and planning, and all they had to do was show up and do their work, allowed them to step into a new, never seen before level of mastery with their own work. It’s magical.
What is not included:
Your own travel costs, travel insurance, anything not specified above (please ask if in doubt)
My guarantee: I realise that choosing to participate in this is a big investment for some of you, especially those who come from far away. I will not cancel the festival for reasons such as few tickets sold or similar. The worst-case scenario is that we spend a week together and run the festival for each other. You will still get free accommodation and breakfast and kitchen use. I have a small team that can substitute me, should I not be able to be physically involved (e.g. due to illness). The only thing I will not take responsibility for is cancellation due to any impediments that are outside of my control, such as natural or political disasters and calamities.
What I ask of you:
A total of 2-3 hours of your work, divided into two or three offerings (e.g. workshop, movement class, speech, performance, admin support)
At the moment of accepting to be a contributor of the festival, you will pay me a bond of 200 Euro. It will be fully returned to you after you fulfil your agreed upon hours of contribution.
Opportunities for additional income:
In addition to the group offerings, you will have the opportunity (if you wish to) to offer short 25-minute 1:1 sessions or treatments (looking for hands on bodywork, oracle card readings, healing sessions etc.) against a donation, as part of our Healing Haven. The suggested donation will be 20 Euro, but please note, this is a suggestion, you might receive more or less, depending on the women’s resources. The healing haven is 4 mini sessions for donation (in a row).
In addition to that, you are free to offer complete, longer 1:1 sessions or treatments at your own price. These will be advertised separately. There will be limitations on how many of these you can offer, based on practice space availability. The number of 1:1s possible will largely depend on what sort of space you need for them and your own availability. I recommend to leave enough time for yourself to enjoy the other offerings and the beautiful place.
I will pay you a 10% commission for participants that book through your personal network. That’s 30 Euro/participant. (please note, if we are part of the same network, this might be a bit tricky to determine, I’m happy to navigate this by case)
