About Me
Hello! I’m Carina, a Brazilian product designer in Amsterdam. My love for nature and the environment began during unforgettable summers at my grandmother’s farm in Brazil. She was a pioneering organic farmer who lived a simple, sustainable life - growing her own food, mending clothes, and using plants for healing. Nothing went to waste; everything became compost.
Inspired by her practices, I’m committed to reducing single-use plastics and providing non-toxic products for both our bodies and the planet. In 2019, I learned that only 9% of plastic is recycled globally, and just 50-60% in the Netherlands. This realization, coupled with conversations with people around me about plastic waste, led to the birth of Beewise.
Our mission is to make sustainability simple and accessible. We offer reusable, eco-friendly alternatives with compostable packaging because we do believe small daily changes can lead to big impacts. Join us in making mindful choices for a greener future!
