Right now, I’m preparing Queen’s Road for its next stage: final edits, ARC setup, and the slow, careful work of bringing a character-led story into the world. It feels exciting, a little surreal, and wonderfully real all at once.
While I work towards that, I wanted to offer something quieter in the meantime.
I’ve shared a short story called The Ceremony of Wings, set on the Somerset coast. It’s a soft, character-led piece of mythic realism—different in tone from Queen’s Road but rooted in the same approach to storytelling: interior lives, sense of place, and moments that linger rather than rush.
