First of all, let me praise your courage! It can be scary to look closely at your money situation, especially when, not-so-deep-down you suspect all might not be well.
Second of all, let me say welcome to the club. As an ELT writer (and before that an English teacher) my own health check results used to be pretty terrible.
BUT, only when we face things can we improve them.
Thirdly, welcome to the financial reality of the ELT community. A sample group of 50 ELT professionals before you have taken this financial health check. You're going to be able to compare your results with theirs (don't worry, it's all anonymous and your email isn't connected to your results or answers and even I won't be able to see who answered what).
It's fascinating to see a window into other people's lives isn't it? Especially when it's about that often taboo topic ... money.
So, step one, click the button below to receive an email with the link to the anonymous survey.
Step two, take 1 minute to fill it out and click "Submit".
Step three, see your results on screen. It will show you the score bands first, so click "View Results" to compare your own score against those.
Step four, await an email from me with reports and insights into the anonymous answers I collected from 126 people that took the survey prior to May 2023.
** I'm taking your email address so I can send you an email showing you the results of a sample population of people in ELT. That way you can compare your results with the 50 people who trialled the financial health check. By taking this health check, you're agreeing that I can send you results comparison emails. From there, you can unsubscribe from my email list at any time. The quiz is anonymous as your email address isn't connected to your answers or results!
I’m Nicola and I teach people how to put their money to work by demystifying investing and giving them the tools, knowledge and mindset to take charge of their finances without the help (and expense) of a financial advisor.
