As is tradition, the Palheiro Golf Gardens Classic coincides with Madeira’s iconic Flower Festival (Festa da Flor). This synergy between sport and culture creates a truly unique and memorable atmosphere for all participants and spectators alike.
Playing for a Cause: Supporting "Garouta do Calhau"
The VI Palheiro Golf Gardens Classic is proud to announce its partnership with Garouta do Calhau, a local non-profit organization dedicated to community development in Funchal. For over 23 years, this institution has been a pillar of social support in Madeira, assisting over 400 people daily, from vulnerable children to senior citizens with specialized care needs.
By participating in this tournament, you are directly contributing to this mission. A portion of the proceeds and voluntary donations collected during the event will be donated to help fund their vital social programs, such as community centers and specialized care for those in need.

May 1st (Friday):
Practice Round: Warm up on our award-winning course.
7PM | Sunset Party: Celebrate the official opening of the tournament with music and drinks as the sun sets over Funchal.
May 2nd (Saturday):
9 AM | Tournament: The main competition begins.
3 PM | Cocktail & Prize-Giving: Join us for the closing ceremony to celebrate the winners and enjoy a refined cocktail session.
