Are you passionate about launching gospel-centered, multiplication-minded churches? The Advent Christian Church Planting Residency is designed to equip visionary leaders like you with the tools, experience, and support needed to plant and grow thriving churches.

For the last ten years, more churches have closed than have been started. We want to be a part of changing that. Church planting continues to be the single most effective way to bring people into the Kingdom, and we're looking for those ready to join us in this mission.
What You'll Get
Leadership Opportunities: Preach, lead ministries and launch new initiatives
Theological Instruction: Opportunities to deepen your theological education through degree or certificate programs
Program Overview
Duration: 18-24 months, full-time
Year 1: Focus on personal development, church plant development and ministry responsibilities
Year 2: Take on more leadership in church planting with coaching support.
The Process
APPLY
Complete the Church Planting Residency Application.
PRE-ASSESSMENT
We'll review your application to get to know you and your calling.
CONVERGE ASSESSMENT
We'll send you to an Assessment Center to gauge your character, calling and readiness.
DEBRIEF
Discuss assessment results with the Church Planting Coordinator.
SITE MATCH
We'll determine the possible church sites that may be a good fit.
MEET THE TEAM
Connect with site leadership and regional superintendent before residency begins.
