This End of Year Yoga Launch is your opportunity to take control of your mind/body health right now, before the year is over. Join Janine for eight 15 minute yoga classes that are easy to sneak into the day during the chaos of the holidays. You also get access to two bonus classes that combine yoga and meditation to get you out of your head and into your body. Take all of these classes live or on demand at your convenience. All classes will be available to you during the event to practice as often as you see fit!
These classes are tailor made for the needs of active adults over 50 who want to stay active for as long as possible:
Mondays: Movement and Meditation is a weekly class that I am including in this 2 week event! 20 minutes of movement followed by 20 minutes of guided meditation. The best way to start off the week!
Tuesdays: Mindful Core to build strength in all 4 abdominal muscles, pelvic floor, spinal muscles, glutes, inner thighs and hip flexors
Wednesdays: Challenge your Balance with different yoga poses to strengthen your legs and prevent falls in daily life
Thursdays: Build Strength in the whole body through functional yoga poses using the body's own resistance
Fridays: Improve Mobility through gentle, intentional stretching and movement.
Who am I?
Hi, I'm Janine, owner of Purple Room Yoga
My online yoga studio is for active adults over 50 who want to stay active with yoga! As a 52 year old woman, I know what it's like for your body to no longer behave the way it did when you were 20. Losing strength, balance, and mobility is not something that I am eager to do, so I have continued to practice yoga for the last 30 years.
I began my yoga practice at age 23 and started teaching at 26. I am excited to share my knowledge with you through this End of Year Yoga Launch so that you can let go of stiffness, feel more stable on your feet, and feel strong and capable in your day!
