People often ask..

Do I have to drink cacao to partake in this ceremony?

No, not really! Yes, we'll be calling in the spirit of cacao, but the most important part of any ceremony is the intention behind it. If you don't want to use cacao, you can substitute it with a cup of tea, a glass of water, or simply sit with a candle, if you prefer.

Is cacao safe to drink in my circumstances?

There are contraindications for people with heart conditions, fermented food sensitivities and anyone taking SSRI antidepressants - please consult with a medical professional if you are unsure.

What is 'ceremonial grade' cacao & where can I get it from?

There are lots of cacao brands out there, but not all are true 'ceremonial grade'. Ceremonial grade means it has been cultivated & harvested in a conscious, ethical way, and minimally processed in order to preserve its psychoactive compounds.
