More importantly
— I coach in a way that helps people feel capable again.
Sessions are capped.
Coaching is focused.
You won’t get lost in a crowd.
At WERK It Out Fitness, strength isn’t rushed.
And it's not one-size-fits-all.
I work with adults who want more than just a workout.
They want to feel better in their body.
Move with less pain.
Get stronger without worrying they’ll make things worse.
Most of my clients are:
• brand new to strength training
• returning to exercise after time off
• rebuilding confidence
• managing aches, injuries, or changes in how their body feels
This isn’t a place where you’re expected to “keep up.”
We take time to get it right.
We build strength step by step.
We make sure your training works for YOU.
And we track progress so you know it's working.
Why I Coach the Way I Do
I didn’t come into strength training the way most people do.
And I don’t coach it that way either.
Because for a lot of people, including me, this isn’t just about exercise.
It’s about everything else that’s been going on.
Sometimes life shifts in ways you didn’t expect or choose.
Loss.
Stress.
Injuries.
Changes in your body that don’t make sense.
Or just a long stretch of putting yourself last because other things needed you more.
And somewhere along the way, your body starts to feel different.
Heavier.
Stiffer.
More tired.
Less familiar.
For me, strength training didn’t fix everything.
But it gave me something I didn’t have before.
It gave me something I could do.
Something I could choose.
Something that was mine.
And over time, that started to change things.
There’s something different about working against resistance.
The weight doesn’t move unless you meet it.
You can't hide from it or pretend it isn't there.
You have to stay with it.
Push into it.
Hold your ground.
If you don’t, it pulls you off.
Or it drops on you.
And your body learns that.
So does your mind.
It learns how to respond.
How to hold.
How to move through it.
Not perfectly.
But better than before.
And for me, that started to carry over.
I stopped focusing so much on what had happened to me.
And started noticing what I was actually able to do.
I wasn’t just stuck in my situation.
I could handle more than I thought.
I could get through things that used to stop me.
Not because those things went away—
But because they didn’t feel as heavy or hard as they used to.
I believed I could deal with them.
And that changed everything.
That’s why I coach the way I do.
Because strength training isn’t just about your physical body.
It’s about learning, little by little, that you can meet what’s in front of you—
And not get pulled under or crushed by it.
Even if you didn’t choose what you’re going through.
Who This Works Best For
This work tends to click for people who are open to being coached.
People who want to get stronger in a way that actually helps their daily life.
People who want to move better, hurt less, and feel more at home in their own body.
People who are willing to learn.
Willing to repeat things.
Willing to try new things.
Willing to stay with it long enough to let it work.
They don’t need perfect.
They understand this is a process.
They’re okay being a
WERK in Progress.
