Is your church passionate about advancing the gospel and raising up new leaders? The Advent Christian Church Planting Residency needs healthy, multiplication-minded churches to serve as site churches for future church planters.

Hosting a church planting resident strengthens your church's mission, provides fresh leadership perspective and contributes to the growth of the Kingdom through church multiplication.
What Site Churches Provide
Mentorship: Equip residents through weekly leadership meetings and ministry coaching
Real Ministry Experience: Provide preaching, leadership and ministry opportunities
Support: Partner with the church planting coordinator to offer the resident ongoing guidance
*Thanks to scholarships, the resident will be fully funded for the duration of the residency.
Site Church Requirements
The assessment will consider these six pillars of health.
MISSIONAL
Lives out Acts 1:8, communicates the gospel clearly and views other churches as allies.
CONTEXTUAL
Is plugged into the community and understands its needs.
FINANCIAL
Has the necessary funds set aside for church planting.
HISTORICAL
Has a history of staff/lay leadership with longevity and fruitfulness.
INTENTIONAL
Elders and pastors make themselves available for discipleship.
BIBLICAL
Church is shaped and driven by Scripture and submits to its ultimate authority.
Program Overview
Duration: 18-24 months, full-time
Year 1: Resident focuses on personal development, church plant development and ministry responsibilities
Year 2: Resident takes on more leadership in church planting with coaching support
