Rachel D'Souza (she/her)

Founder of Gladiator Consulting

Rachel is the founder of Gladiator Consulting, a boutique firm serving nonprofits across the US. Through Gladiator, Rachel has served as an innovator and pioneer in the Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF) movement, a global initiative to reimagine the nonprofit sector through a lens of radical collaboration, racial equity, social justice, and decolonization. In 2024, Rachel became the first person of color to serve as Board President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater St. Louis in its fifty year history. She recently earned her second Masters Degree at the Washington University School of Law, and hopes to build more transformative connections between the nonprofit and public sectors. Rachel lives in the Shaw neighborhood with her two children and enjoys cooking, napping and posting #eldermillenial things on Instagram.

Marisa DeSalles (she/her)

Founder of Good Tilth Consulting

Marisa is a faculty member with Impact Foundry, assisting as a Certified Sustainable coach, presenting a monthly series of educational workshops and is the featured speaker, Emcee and host for the Impact Foundry’s 5th annual What IF conference. She also serves on the global transition team for Community-Centric Fundraising, a burgeoning movement of nonprofit fundraising professionals working to improve fundraising through a lens of equity. She volunteers her time with Sacramento Community Land Trust, a cohort of Big Day of Giving mentees and dozens of other organizations, mentoring young and newly emerging fundraisers.

Madeleine Durante (she/her/they/them)

Resource Mobilizer, ACLU Donor Acquisition Program

Madeleine Durante is a resource mobilizer for social justice. With over a decade of social justice fundraising experience, Madeleine currently leads the ACLU's donor acquisition and reinstatement program. Prior to the ACLU, she led donor retention and midlevel giving at MoveOn and Planned Parenthood's national office, successfully leading donor programs, establishing and scaling channels, and co-chairing PPFA's LGBTQ employee resource group. Madeleine is a board alumni and volunteers with the New York Abortion Access Fund, and received AFP-Global’s 2024 Outstanding Young Professional Award.

Meena Haque (she/her)

Activist, Organizer, and Fundraiser

Meena Haque is an activist, organizer, and fundraiser with over 10 years of experience in fundraising and 15 years in organizing for domestic and international campaigns. Passionate about wealth redistribution and movement building, she uses storytelling and relationship-building to inspire donors and raise funds for communities. Meena previously served as the Individual Giving Manager at UltraViolet, a national gender justice organization, and as the Development Director at the New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice. At the Workers’ Center, her fundraising efforts supported aCOVID-19 relief fund for undocumented workers, amplified awareness of labor trafficking in crawfish processing plants.

Dāna James (she/her)

Community Architect, Berklee

Dāna James is a key member of Berklee’s Alumni Affairs team and serves as the Community Architect for Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF), where she empowers individuals to build inclusive, intersectional spaces of belonging. Recognized for her expertise in workflow design, power dynamics, and grassroots engagement, Dāna is a sought-after speaker and currently a 2024 Feedback Champion with Feedback Labs. With a background in project management, Dāna has a strong track record in designing community-based programs from workforce development to emergency management. Her knack for blending technology solutions with team culture has made her a go-to resource.

Rehana Lanewala (she/her)

Director of Development & Communications, FamilyWorks

Rehana is a nonprofit development and communications professional with over 15 years of experience leading fund development, marketing, and storytelling strategies that center community and advance equity. Rehana is a co-founder of Community-Centric Fundraising and is deeply invested in reshaping how we think about donor engagement, storytelling, power dynamics, and accountability in our sector.

Jennifer Li Dotson 李麗玲 (she/her)

Fundraise Up

Jennifer is a software developer that facilitates free access to AI powered fundraising technology generating digital revenue for more than 3000 nonprofit organizations around the globe for Fundraise Up. Dotson currently serves with the US Commission for Civil Rights, Committee on the Status of Women and the Committee on Refugee and Immigrant Affairs. She has previously led philanthropy teams at the National Kidney Foundation, American Red Cross, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving. She holds a BSc from Georgetown University and MSc from the London School of Economics. Her favorite way to unplug is volunteering with her daughter's Girl Scout troop and coaching her son's soccer team or hiking Pacific Northwest trails with her rescue husky.

Abigail Oduol (she/her)

Planned Gifts Fundraiser at Earthjustice

Abigail is a Planned Gifts fundraiser at Earthjustice. She received her MA in Transformational Urban Leadership in Kenya focused on community organizing. Abigail is a CCF Global council member and a member of too many committees. She invests time thinking about how popular culture informs fundraising and how people connect to each other.

Kristi Scott (she/her)

Email Marketing Consultant

Kristi is an email marketing and fundraising consultant who works with small nonprofits to transform email campaigns from ineffective to impactful. She’s been in the nonprofit sector for over 15 years in programs, fundraising, and marketing. She understands the big picture in nonprofit fundraising and the practical steps for the most impact. Her consulting work is rooted in community-centric fundraising (CCF) and she organizes the Los Angeles Chapter meetings for CCF. She's professionally and personally committed to Black liberation and equity for all. She holds an MBA in Marketing with honors from Fitchburg State University and has worked in small businesses, startups, and corporate sales. She was born, and raised, and currently lives in the Los Angeles area, the traditional lands of the Tongva (Gabrieleno) peoples. Outside of her professional work, she loves spending time with her family, poodle rescue, Mookie (Go Dodgers!), and friends.

The CCF Family Reunion '25 is a CCF pre-conference deep dive with a focus on strong CCF sessions that address topics we're interested in, with the opportunity for us to connect, discuss what we’ve learned from the sessions, and feel like a community.
