The Human Edge.
"If you’ve ever thought human thinking was redundant in a world of AI, this book will reboot your perspective. It’s a timely and empowering read for professionals across every field."
Emeritus Professor Gary Martin FAIM
Chief Executive, the Australian Institute of Management WA
"Reading The Human Edge is like having a coffee with your most insightful, clever and supportive friend. Bethan will leave you feeling more grounded, equipped and ready to flex your critical thinking muscles as you navigate AI."
Dr. Brennan Jacoby
Philosopher and Founder of Philosophy at Work UK
"If AI is the engine, critical thinking is the steering wheel. Bethan brings both head and heart to the table, blending smart strategy with that unmistakable Welsh warmth.
This book is a masterclass in staying sharp while the world accelerates around us."
Leanne Hughes
Keynote speaker, consultant, and author of The 2-Hour Workshop Blueprint.
"In a world with so much misinformation and mistrust we’re often told we need to think critically. Not often enough are we told ‘how’ to think critically.
Bethan doesn’t just show us how to do it, but how to harness the best emerging technology and tools to do it without losing what makes us uniquely human in the process. This is the right book at the right time to help us think, lead and live more consciously and intentionally."

How can we maintain our human edge in an AI-driven world?
While more and more tasks can be outsourced to AI, this accessible book explores how we can develop our high level thinking skills and stay employed, stay ahead and stay relevant.
Through structured conversations and experiments, the book draws on practical wisdom, behavioural science and Bethan Winn's years in education and training to be an essential guide for leaders to develop their own critical, creative and strategic thinking skills while also coaching those they care about.
The book is designed to increase your confidence, clarity and connection. It will help you find truth amid ambiguity, take decisive action, connect disparate ideas and embrace uncertainty: some of the most valuable skills for work and life in our rapidly changing world.
"The Human Edge is a smart, practical, and surprisingly fun guide to thinking more critically (and courageously) in a world now obsessed with outsourcing thinking to AI. It’s packed with real stories, tools you can use straight away, and structured convos you can have with your team, your kids, or even yourself!"
Claire Seeber

"This is a must read for those that are grappling with how AI and human skills co-exist in today’s world. Bethan illustrates in an incredibly eloquent way how AI and human skills are complementary to each other - and for those who use both effectively there are wonderful outcomes waiting. Practically written, this is a book you won’t only read once but refer back to time and time again. Well researched and written which makes a complex topic easy to grasp with lots of real-life activities to work through. Highly recommend!"
