Ruth Sanger is a native of Delaware, the state not the county. Writing has always been a passion project of hers in between teaching music and performing in community theater. Living in China for four years gave her a unique perspective on life and she tries to express that in her writing style. You can usually find her singing a song and a book in hand!

Everyone knows that the elementals can’t leave their element. Mermaids stay in the water, fire salamanders in the hearth, and the sylphs keep to the air. The few remaining earth elementals that haven’t been turned to stones or trees keep to the forest and hide from humans.
