Hi, we're Sophie & Clare...
Two product based business consultants, with a combined 35+ years of retail industry experience working for some of the worlds biggest brands including Ralph Lauren, Burberry, BikeShed, ASOS, so we know a thing or two about product based businesses.
We met during the pandemic via a networking group called The Coven and bonded over a shared mission and love of dessert.
We both joined The Coven because starting a business during lockdown was super lonely, we didn’t have anyone to share our experiences with, hold us accountable or hash out our problems to. We were craving connection, with people that actually understood what we were going through as new service business owners…
& we found that in eachother! Suddenly business didn’t feel so overwhelming and we were constantly sparking ideas off of eachother, so much so that we decided to collaborate and back in September 2021 we hosted our first LIVE networking event with special industry guest speakers including Julie Lingard, founder of AQAQ & Tim Binnington, founder of Manta hair.
It was a special evening watching so many small product business owners come together, chat about their brands, find support in eachother, share learns, and find their business community. So many of the attendees of this event have gone on to collaborate with eachother & find life long business besties - which is something we know you probably want as well, but maybe you don’t have the confidence to approach people or you don’t know how to network…
This is why we have created the lets get down to business networking hub - a place for you to connect with other small product business owners who are going through and facing the same challenges, lessons & conversations as you!
How this community is going to work...
We’re keeping it simple with our primary networking hub being on instagram… We know you use this app everyday, so why would we make you download another one.
Right now this networking group is an exclusive closed community of small product business owners, to get in you must be invited and approved by us. This is to ensure only people who are serious about building their community join us and so that we can keep the group for product business owners only.
WE WILL OPEN THE DOORS TO THE COMMUNITY OFFICIALLY IN MARCH 2023!
The instagram feed itself will act as a place for us to share information about members of our community… You will have the chance to submit your profile to share on our feed and let our members know about your business, plus if you are looking for specific collaborations you will have the chance weekly to submit to our members collab board and we will put it out there what you are looking for to help you find it. For example if you are setting up an independent multi-brand ecommerce platform and looking for new brands to list we can help you find those brands in our community.
You will also have the opportunity to take over our story for a day, tag us in your content to share on our stories so alert other members, be added in to the community group chat & be extended an invitation to attend our online member events hosted weekly.
We will also be going live on the grid & stories to share our business networking stories with you and updates from the community.
