I'm Janine Agoglia!

I am the owner and instructor at Purple Room Yoga, an online yoga studio for active adults over 50 who want to stay active with yoga. I love working with athletes of all types to help them understand their body and work to improve their longevity in their sport. As a woman in her 50s, I understand the needs of aging athletes, and how the body requires more maintenance to continue playing the sports you love. I see yoga as an ideal pairing to any sport or physical activity.

I have been teaching yoga since 1998. I am also an avid swimmer, hiker, and love to walk outside. In addition to teaching, I am also a licensed acupuncturist in Massachusetts, and mom to 2 young adult men.
