We’re thrilled to launch 'Mama Needs a Hand' with support from United Way! Thanks to this incredible funding, we’ll provide on-demand in-home support to 100 moms—for free. After this initial phase, the service will transition to a paid model, allowing us to sustain our mission. For every two paid services, we’ll give back by providing support to a mom in need, ensuring no one is left behind.

We heard our mom friends needed a village so we built one. Serving 100 moms in the Baltimore Metro area FOR FREE.
For moms who:
Live in Baltimore County or Baltimore City
Have a child or children under 5
Willing to provide feedback on experience
Is in need of support to improve mental health or feelings of overwhelm
Desire more assistance with daily motherhood tasks

A $65 donation directly supports our Mama Needs a Hand Initiative, ensuring that we can serve over 100 moms for free. Mom Assistant to visit a mom’s home, providing instant relief to help reduce her mental load and improve overall mental health for both moms and families.✔️ All Mom Assistants are CPR-certified and background-checked.✔️ They are paid professionals, hired locally from the communities they serve.

Everything you need to know about Mama Needs A Hand.
This service will be provided by our MAs ( Mom Assistants). All of these providers are background checked and childcare certified insuring comfortability and safety. All selected participants will have an opportunity to speak to their provider before the service, ensuring it is a great match!
Mom assistants can offer a variety of services to ensure the moms served can truly experience the break and ease that they deserve!
Services will include:
Folding Laundry
Doing Dishes
Organizing Kids room
Childcare assistance
"Tidying up"
Emotional Support/ Conversations (We are here to listen!)
We are open to other requests within reason. Please see more details in application form.
You can sign up for this service on behalf of your partner. The partner must be aware of the service and submit identification verification in order to qualify.
Yes! After the initial launch this service will be available for purchase starting at $65 per service. This is a great baby shower gift, gift for a mom friend or perfect for a self care day!
Selection is based on location and the level of priority need, with special consideration given to moms with children under the age of 5. All participants must live in Baltimore County or Baltimore City for the initial launch. All interested participants must submit an application and verify identify in order to qualify.
Participants must be home during the time of the service.
