WHY MAPU SPEAKERS?

MAPU Speakers aren't only loudspeakers. They are a catalyst for change to offer a conscious and sustainable alternative in the audio market. Using natural materials and collaborating with local artisans, we create premium speakers that not only sound exceptional, but also respect the environment and celebrate cultural heritage.

WHAT IS "MISSION: CIRCULAR ECONOMY"?

Mission: Circular Economy is a collective crowdfunding contest by Starthaus Bremen in cooperation with the Senator for Economy, Ports and Transformation. We were invited as one of 10 Bremen based projects to participate in the campaign. - Make, use, recycle – you can help to shape the future and turn circular solutions into reality!

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THIS CAMPAIGN?

Our goal is to fund the development and initial production of the new generation of MAPU Preto G2 speakers with AirPlay2 and multiroom sound. We aim to raise €10.000 to cover an important part of the development and production costs, strengthen our collaboration with artisans, and implement new technology.

WHAT WILL THE RAISED FUNDS BE USED FOR?

The funds from the campaign will cover :

• development of the Second Generation Mapu Speaker (G2) with AirPlay2 and multiroom system.

• Production of the first limited series of MAPU Preto G2.

• Expansion of our ceramic and artisanal workshop network in Germany.

HOW DOES THIS PROJECT CONTRIBUTE TO THE SDGs?

Our project aligns with UN Social Development Goals:
SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production): We use biodegradable materials and low-carbon processes to create products designed to last longer than the typical lifecycle of electronics.
SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): We collaborate with local communities of ceramists and wood artisans, promoting a decentralized and sustainable economic model.
