Welcome Parents
Welcome Parents to our Student Ministry! Our ministry exists to partner with you so that we can help your teenager know Jesus and experience Christian community. This newsletter is a source for you to "be in the know" about what we are doing, teaching, and planning. We also hope to give you a little encouragement/support because parenting is hard and it doesn't come with a manual.
How can my student get involved?
Sunday we invite students to worship as one community in our adult gathering and to find a place to serve. Those services happen at 9:00 am and 10:40 am.
Wednesday we invite students to participate in our midweek program where they can experience caring leaders, Christian community, spiritual practices (communion and prayer), and conversations*. Our program is from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm over three 10-week sessions (schedule below).
On the First Friday of every month, our students serve at "No One Left Behind's" Friday night dinner. This meal takes place from 4:30-6:30 @ Mountainview Christian Church. Families are encouraged to serve with their children.
*All of our conversations are based on Sunday morning sermon content

Mountainview Students Winter Retreat:
Join us for an unforgettable 3 day Winter Retreat for Middle and Highschoolers, designed to deepen your faith and connect you with Christian community. Through worship, teaching, fun activities, and meaningful fellowship, you'll grow closer to God and build lasting relationships with other believers.

Need Financial Assistance?
Because of our church's generosity, we have the ability to help families send their kids to events through our financial assistance program. Due to limited funds, we ask that you only fill out an application if you are unable to pay otherwise.

Want to know more about Winter Retreat?
Who: This is a winter retreat for Mountainview students currently in grades 6-12.
What: Winter retreat is a three-day slow down filled with games, hangout time, worship, Bible Study, and more!
Where: Trout Creek Bible Camp Retreat Center 38105 SE Gordon Creek Road, Corbett, OR 97019
When: Feb 7-9
Why: When kids can get away from distractions and spend quality time with caring adults while focusing on God, great things happen!
