I am a qualified teacher and a psychological wellbeing practitioner. I run a successful SEND consulting business, helping parents of children with SEND from England to secure fit-for-purpose support for their kids from the educational, health and care systems. I advise parents and teachers on the ways their children needs can be met in a home and school environment. My comprehensive understanding of developmental psychology and practical experience with my own children and those I used to work with, I am a skilled parenting advisor, able to help you think of your daily struggles and challenges from different perspectives so that your sanity be preserved, your child's emotional needs be met and you can both enjoy your relationship.
My outlook combines multiple perspectives, including but not limited to my formal qualifications; professional experience; understanding of human development and emotions gained through my psychology degree (completed), low intensity CBT training (completed) and psychoanalytic psychotherapy training (current); knowledge and understanding of Educational (SEND) law with vast practical experience in its application, as well lived (personal, marital and parenting) experience.

If you need SEND law support, you may wish to choose a SEND consultation session. During such consultation I can provide guidance, signposting, and education on those aspects of the SEND law which are applicable to your individual situation. I may advise you on what the best next steps would be in your situation. I may also agree with you on an action plan, as a part of which I will support you even further* - with writing legal documents, representing you in discussions with your child's school, local authority, in mediation or in tribunal.
If you want to explore alternative ways to those in which you parent your child, understand your child's development, behaviour, their big emotions or your own big emotions that your child and/or being their parent evokes in you, you may wish to choose a Parenting Tuition session. Bring anything you want to that session - excerpts of your conversations with your child/ spouse/ partner, video of your child's behaviour, problem/ obstacle/ challenge/ difficult situation you have encountered as a parent. We will focus on looking at this single thing from multiple perspectives and you will be guided through the thinking process. As a result, you will find a new freedom to respond differently to those daily frustrating situations in ways that can bring about different outcomes.
