NW Mayhem Mission:
The Mayhem Franchise is committed to the growth of young ladies both on and off the field.

- We take a longterm approach to player and team development. We strive to create competitive franchise teams who will grow together in the years to come. No "once and done seasons", we take a long term strategic approach.
- Multi-sport athletes welcome as we realize many talented softball players enjoy competing in other sports as well. We will do our best to work with you rather than making you choose," us or them".
- Committed to affordability with a goal of team fees for the year at or below $500. Top notch coaching / player development does not have to be cost prohibitive.
Meet the NW Mayhem Coaching Staff
Matt Clark - 18U
Matt is a well-respected softball coach with over 30 years of experience. He is the co-founder of the NW Mayhem Softball Franchise, which was created after he coached his daughters throughout their competitive softball careers. Matt has a diverse background in the sport, having played baseball and men's fastpitch softball his entire life. He has played every position on the field at the highest level, which has given him a deep understanding of the game. Matt's coaching philosophy focuses on eliminating wasted motions while fine-tuning thought processes to help players refine their game. He believes that by focusing on the fundamentals, players can develop the skills they need to be successful. Matt is committed to investing in player growth in tandem with asking for 100% commitment from both players and parents. His goal is to maximize player growth and skill development.
TJ Kirkpatrick - 18U
Tj has been coaching softball for the past 12 years. TJ has been a coach for NW Mayhem for the last four years. His favorite part of coaching is watching the girls improve mentally and physically, build solid friendships, and develop leadership skills that will pave the way for a successful future. Go Mayhem!
Bob Sanborn - 14U 2nd year
Bob is a passionate coach who believes that the game can teach young people valuable life lessons. He has a wealth of experience both as a successful scholarship collegiate player as well as coaching at the high school and travel ball levels. He is committed to instilling a foundation of hard work and personal growth in his players. Bob is also a busy middle school teacher and a family man who enjoys hiking, camping, and live music. Bob has been coaching for NW Mayhem for five years having coached his oldest daughter and now his twins Brooke and Meadow.
Lindsay Burke - 14U 2nd yr.
Coach Lindsay is a native Oregonian with an extensive softball career. She brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the game. Lindsay played softball in college continuing her career as a catcher & 3rd base. After college she went on to coach high school and 16U/A. She Has recently returned to coaching in 2023 after taking a break to focus on her career in massage therapy where she specializes in sports injuries and rehabilitation. She is known for her highly relational approach in keeping players engaged and focused while sharing her love for the game
Suzie Glenn - 14U 1st Year
Suzie has coached softball and basketball at the high school, tournament, and rec level since 2016. Her coaching core tannates are player development, solidifying fundaments coupled with helping players to cultivate expert softball IQ. Transparency, proactive communication, and clearly articulated expectations are integral to Suzie’s coaching style. Suzie is an accomplished scholarship college athlete and decorated softball player who strives to inspire players to fulfill their true potential while creating amazing memories while building lasting friendships during their time as part of the NW Mayhem Franchise. Suzie loves to challenge players to get "uncomfortable" as that is where growth happens...here's to discomfort and a great season!
Heather Whiteaker - 14U B
Heather has nearly 10 years of coaching experience at the rec ball, travel ball and high school levels. She is a former college softball player, bringing infield and outfield expertise. Heather is committed to helping her players reach their full potential. She is known for her positive attitude and her ability to motivate her players. She also has a deep understanding of the game and looks forward to teaching her players the skills they need to be successful.
