Welcome to Wisepath - I'm here to help.

You’ve heard about the Partner Employment Assistance Program (PEAP) — but working out what it covers, or how to use it, can feel overwhelming. That’s where I come in. I’ll walk you through the essentials, answer your questions, and help you understand how to use your PEAP funding to access professional career support through Wisepath. It’s simple, practical, and designed to make your next step clear.

You can either download the Information Kit where I map out our offer and services, or you can book a FREE 15 minute Clarity Call and I will talk you through it. I've also got a free information session that you can watch on demand (coming soon!).

Understanding the Defence Partner Journey

At Wisepath, we recognise that life as a Defence partner is rewarding, but it can also be unpredictable. Between relocations, career breaks, and changing family needs, finding stable and meaningful employment can feel daunting.

You may be starting over in a new town, exploring study or training options, returning to work after caring responsibilities, or re-imagining your professional identity altogether. Wherever you are in your journey, we’re here to help you navigate your next steps with clarity and confidence.

Our approach is holistic, practical, and personal — blending professional career guidance with a genuine understanding of Defence life. Through the Partner Employment Assistance Program (PEAP) or private coaching, we’ll work with you to create a career path that fits your goals, values, and lifestyle.

Most PEAP client blend a combination that suits their current needs.

A Registered Practising Career Development Practitioner (RPCDP) is a qualified professional recognised by the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) who meets national standards for education, ethical practice, and ongoing professional development to provide evidence-based career guidance and counselling across all life stages.

Holistic. Practical. Personal.

Wisepath Career Services are informed and embedded in our Pivot Pathways Framework. This approach means that every conversation, plan, and resource is designed to consider the whole person: your work, wellbeing, and financial reality. We look beyond the next job application to help you make sustainable career decisions that fit your lifestyle, align with your values, and support the season of life you’re in, and the lifestyle that is unique to military family life.

The Wisepath Difference

Wisepath is led by Vicki Clothier, a qualified Career Development Practitioner and Counsellor with extensive experience supporting Defence families. As a Defence spouse herself, Vicki brings empathy and insight to every session — she understands the challenges of frequent relocations, identity shifts, and balancing work with family and service life.

Our programs are grounded in evidence-based frameworks and delivered with a human touch. We focus on helping you make informed, confident decisions — not just about your next job, but about the life and career you want to build long term.

At Wisepath, we believe true career wellbeing happens when your work aligns with your values, supports your wellbeing, and gives you the freedom to live life on your terms.
