Meet Your Hostess, Jessyka Coulter
Jessyka Coulter is the CEO and Founder of Ace Cookie Tutoring and the creator of The NERDY Method. Her company offers study and executive functioning skills tutoring through her Love to Learn study skills program.
Teaching and learning take constant study. Research is required. It takes practice and observation, and that's just for the tutor.
Over 10 years, Jessyka has worked with hundreds of teens. She's seen them struggle, and she's seen them thrive. Her quest was to discover what the difference between struggling and thriving was.
She has an answer, and it's twofold. For the most success, teens have to know how they learn, and they have to have study skills to propel them forward.
Knowing what teens need, Jessyka has developed The NERDY Method. She works one-on-one with teens to teach them the skill and then helps them implement the skill.
She teaches the skills in an order that creates a strong foundation so that each skill builds upon the next.
Learning preferences are also a part of the system. Your teen can learn using any style, but if he learns more using one over the other, why wouldn't he use it?
The NERDY Method is changing teens into successful learners who Love to Learn.
While Jessyka loves helping teens, she also has a love for music. Learn It! gives a nod to Michael Jackson, but even more so to Weird Al Yankovic. The accordion, the lyrics, and the videos make her laugh. She would love to open your teen's mind and feed it.
