Terms and Conditions for online workshop purchases

This online workshop is offered by Catherine Stevenson - freelance English teacher and teacher trainer based in Verona, Italy (P.IVA 04862400233). By purchasing this workshop, you agree to the following terms.

1. What’s Included

This is a live online workshop. The price includes participation in the session and any accompanying resources shared during or after the workshop.

2. Booking and Payment

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Your place is confirmed once payment is complete. If you have any issues with your booking, please contact me at [email protected].

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Under EU law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. However, because this workshop takes place on a specific date and may be delivered in full before the end of that period, by booking you agree to waive your right of withdrawal once the session begins.

If you need to cancel before the workshop, please contact me as soon as possible. I’ll do my best to help or offer a transfer if appropriate, but refunds are not guaranteed unless legally required.

4. Personal Data and Privacy

Any personal information you provide will be processed in line with the Transform English Privacy Policy and used only to deliver this service. By participating in the workshop you also agree to be signed up to the Transform English newsletter and for your date to be shared with Mailerlite. You can unsubscribe at any time. Your data will not be shared without your consent unless required by law.

5. Intellectual Property

All workshop content, including slides, materials, and recordings (if applicable), is the property of Catherine Stevenson. You may use materials for personal/classroom use but may not share, copy, or reuse them publicly without written permission.

6. Liability

This workshop is delivered with care and professionalism. However, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you live in the EU and are a consumer, you are protected by your local consumer rights laws.

When you book, you’ll also be subscribed to my newsletter with updates, CLIL tips, and offers related to English teaching. This is based on legitimate interest.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

b) If you contact me directly

• Purpose: To respond to your enquiry

• Legal basis: Your consent and legitimate interest in replying

3. How your data is stored

Your data is securely stored and processed by:

• Stripe, for payments and invoicing

• Mailerlite, for sending newsletters

All providers are GDPR-compliant. I do not sell or share your data for third-party marketing.

• Booking and payment data: As long as required by Italian law (e.g. for tax purposes)
