Spirit Fest is an Annual Fall celebration put on by volunteers from Divine Mercy Catholic Church and School, and is a beloved local tradition blending faith, food, and family fun!
-We anticipate around 1,000 local families to attend events on both Saturday and Sunday-
-This is the first time in many years adding a Makers Market to the Sunday event offerings!
-Crafters may choose to set up on either Saturday evening during the young family-oriented activities or on early Sunday morning before the market opens for the day from 9AM-4PM
- The Saturday night activities will focus on games and events geared towards families with younger children: games, inflatables, kid-friendly food, and an outdoor movie. The Makers Market will not be open for selling on Saturday. -
-Sunday will aim at entertainment, fun, and food for all ages: a sit-down luncheon, live music, food trucks, a silent auction, country market (baked goods & local produce), many other activities...
...and the new MAKERS MARKET!

Answers to some common questions...
If these don't answer the questions or concerns you may have, please send me an e-mail!
Please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] with any further questions or concerns.
Never filled out at ST19 form, and unsure what it's all about? THIS PAGE has some great information on whether you may need it-- some people may qualify for an "isolated and occasional sales exemption."
The form (or a written statement from you declaring an exemption) is a legal necessity for us to have on file for putting on the Makers Market, and declares whether you will be collecting sales tax or not.
We hope to install excellent signage at the event (and if you donate products to the Silent Auction, one by your donation) to direct attendees to the school gym and promote the Makers Market specifically in mailings, flyers, bulletin inserts, as well as blasts on social media and parish e-mail communications.
Craft fairs are usually popular events, and with the addition of food, live entertainment, and other attractions offered at Spirit Fest that day, we have great hopes that it will be a tradition continued for many years to come!
Absolutely! We consider those handmade or handcrafted products, as long as they are family-friendly and you are the one selling them at the market, feel free to apply!
At this point, we are only accepting sellers with products that are handmade or handcrafted by the seller. No reselling or network marketing permitted. If we expand in future years, there may be that option, but for our first year, we are trying to keep it simple.
Thank you for your understanding!
As much as we all greatly appreciate well-made food, Spirit Fest is also a fundraiser that our Parish Church and School communities depend on every year!
We will already be offering food trucks, a sit-down dinner, and a country market with baked goods and fresh produce for attendees to purchase in order to help raise funds for our community. We would greatly appreciate donations (although we cannot accept canned goods for health and safety reasons) when the event is closer!
Thank you for your understanding!
As the organizers are Catholic, we also want to be able to make it to Mass that weekend! If we ran it both Saturday and Sunday, it would be difficult to fulfill our obligation. We still expect great turnout on Sunday with attendees of all ages who look forward to live music, raffles, the Silent Auction, great food, games, and so much more!
It may be extended to both days in future years if it proves feasible!
There are four spaces that would have access to one outlet (2 sockets for plugging in), and six spaces that would each share one outlet with one other seller space. Extension cords would be necessary for some locations--details would come in future months.

You must also meet the handmade/handcrafted + family-friendly product criteria and submit both payment to Divine Mercy Catholic Church or School (mail or drop off in-person) AND a Minnesota ST19 form (or qualified exemption statement).
