🦩 Intro to Figure Skating participants MUST be in figure skates. Hockey skates are not permitted in this program.
🦩 Please make sure that you are confident about the dates you are selecting before you sign up. Once registered you may not switch your days without approval from the TGISC coaching team. 🦩 24 hours will be required and is dependent on coach and space availability. 🦩 Make up days for summer may be permitted at the discretion of the coaches, however will not be carried over into the regular 2024-2025 season.

A CSA approved helmet is MANDATORY for all CanSkaters up to and including Stage 5. Ski helmets are generally not CSA approved which is a common misconception
Once skaters have reached Stage 6, they can choose with their parent if they would like to continue wearing a helmet but we recommend wearing one until they move into Preliminary STARSkate. The helmet must have a "CSA Approved" sticker on it or the skater will not be allowed on the ice. This is for insurance purposes. Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep the skaters safe!
