JR STEM Camps for ages 5-7

These are suggested ages to get the most enjoyment from camp, but we are flexible if your child is experienced or prefers a younger camp. We are happy to accomodate, however we cannot accomodate 1 on 1 help for the duration of camp as our ratio goal is 5:1.

We provide all the tech, equipment, and materials. If your child is attending a camp such as Roblox, and they already have an account, we encourage them to come prepared with their own login and password if they wish to use it. The software may ask for 2-factor authentication which could complicate things, so we always have 'house accounts' for Ninjas to use if they cannot get into their accounts, or if they do not have one. We may try to contact you one time for an authentication code if we run into this, and your child REALLY wants to use their own account. We aim to please!

YES! Although our staff does not have specialized training for neuro-divergent learners, we do provide specific training on how to engage with the neuro-divergent children, to ask parents for input, and in rare situations, if a child is having a tough time, we will not hesitate to contact a parent to seek their advice or have them be picked up early. Although we do not offer refunds, we are happy to have your child come in to our Dojo ahead of camp season, to try a free coding session to see how comfortable they feel in our environment. Our goal is to be inclusive, accepting, and supportive in every way we can so all kids may experience the joy of camp!

There are NO refunds within 4 wks of starting date of the camps, or other special events as capacity is limited and we are unable to recover that loss. 100% refund can be offered for more than 4 weeks notice in advance. 75% store credit can be offered for less than 4 weeks but more than 2 weeks notice in advance. 50% store credit can be offered for less than 2 weeks but more than 1 week notice in advance, and no credit will be issued for notice less than 1 week in advance. The credit is non-transferable, and has no cash value. The credit may be used for any Code Ninjas programs at the Barrie location only. An admin fee of $25 will be charged to process any refunds or credit. No credit or refund will be given for days when the participant is absent. Missed days cannot be made up. There will be no credit or refund if the child leaves the program early regardless of how much time is missed. There will be no refund or credit if the child is dismissed from the program.
