Wednesday August 6 | Watermelon Wednesday Theme DayWe'll bring the watermelons and prizes for most creative costume 🍉 |
Thursday August 7 or 21 | Tentative Star 6-Gold Assessment DayStar 1-5 Assessments will assess throughout the month of August or determined by the coaches |
Thursday-Sunday August 14-17 | Burnaby SummerSkate CompetitionUsually open to skaters in Star 2 and up, this is the tentative date for this competition. |
Wednesday August 27 | Well-Dressed Wednesday Theme DayCome in your finest sparkle for the final week of summer skating! This is a great day to see if your competition costumes still fit 😉 |

FAQ's
What is the discount structure?
Earlybird ends May 31! Extra 5% discount
10-19 Days = 10% discount
20-33 Days = 20% discount
Full Pack 34 Days = 30% discount
🔆 Discounts apply per skater, are non-transferrable and only active at time of purchase for one transaction.
🔆So you sure can - but only on your 2 new days 😉
🔆 Yes - Pick-Up for both ice and off-ice sessions are $20 for 60 minute classes/ice and $15 for 45 minute classes/ice.; dependent on space availability.
🔆 Custom built packages are based on the pick up rates, however skaters are still eligible for the Multi Day discount.

🔆 Please make sure that you are confident about the dates you are selecting before you sign up. Once registered you may not switch your days without approval from the TGISC coaching team. 🔆 24 hours will be required and is dependent on coach and space availability. 🔆 Make up days for summer may be permitted at the discretion of the coaches, however will not be carried over into the regular 2025-2026 season.
Depending on the length of your day make sure to bring plenty of snacks, a lunch if you need one, and a water bottle. And your skates (obvi 😉)!
🔆 It’s a good idea to bring a hat, sunscreen, a big spray, and a change of clothes as we may go outside from time to time.
🔆 For off-ice classes, please make sure you bring running shoes, skipping rope, and a yoga mat.
🔆 Please don’t bring additional personal items or toys from home that are not needed for your off-ice classes. Anything that is deemed unsafe or a distraction may be held onto during the day for your skater to have back at the end of the day.

Supervision
🔆 This year before and after care will be provided by Fun Kids Club Calgary located in the community association!
About Fun Kids Club:
Our programs passionately inspire children to engage in positive interaction, cultivate self-regulation skills, and foster a sense of wonder through exploration, play, and inquiry.
We provide meaningful experiences that empower children to take the lead while offering dedicated support from our team.
Our aim is to create authentic, lifelong connections among participants, nurturing lasting relationships that go beyond the program.
🔆 Fun Kids Club offers childcare Monday to Friday for 7 weeks from July 2 to August 20, from 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM
🔆 Pricing is $45/day and includes escort from the arena to the community association
