The Self-Transforming Mind
If you scored 28 - 30, you may be using the highest level of adult development, the Self-Transforming Mind. Only 1 to 7% of college-educated adults use this level to function in the world, however. So, recheck your score if this is where you’ve landed.
Strengths: An individual who uses the Self-Transforming Mind will thrive in VUCA environments. (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity.) They often experience emotional discord as opportunity for growth. They see everything as being interconnected and interdependent, see the unique essence in every living system, and they think developmentally in every direction.
Weaknesses: Individuals who reach this level often feel isolated because they struggle to find others they can relate to.
Support: Self-Transforming leaders often use coaching services to help them avoid isolation and to bounce ideas off a neutral other.
This assessment is a unscientific snapshot of your thinking at the time you completed it. It is designed using Harvard professor Robert Kegan’s levels of adult development. For a thorough objectification of your level of adult development, please book a discovery call with Fern EPC.
