I'm Janine Agoglia!
I have been teaching Vinyasa yoga since 1998. In 2021, after 22 years of teaching in studios, I started Purple Room Yoga, an Online Yoga Studio for active adults over 50 who are looking to stay active as long as possible.
Yoga has been life-saving for me, both mentally and physically. Over the decades, yoga has taught me to love myself and meet myself where I am. Even though my body looks and feels differently that it did when I was in my 20s, I can still practice yoga with the body that I have, and be kind to myself in my self-talk. Every day I can build strength, improve my balance and mobility, and care for myself just as I am.
I have dedicated myself to helping people over 50 embrace the body that they have through practicing yoga. When you meet yourself where you are, you find peace, ease, and comfort, both in body and mind. I encourage my students to accept themselves as I do, with love, authenticity, integrity, honesty, and gratitude.
Yoga helps you age with grace and dignity, strength and ease, peace and balance. I am a guide, a teacher, and a support for all of my students to learn, grow, and cross-train for life using the practice and wisdom of yoga.
All are welcome at Purple Room Yoga. Come as you are. Now is the time to stop simply aging, and start Aging Gracefully with Strength, Balance, Mobility, and Mindfulness.
