All-Paths Recovery Meeting

We welcome anyone who struggles with addiction, is affected by addiction, and/or supports the recovery lifestyle.

This is more than a gathering; it's a deliberate opportunity to foster deep connections, build a supportive community, and openly share your recovery journey.

Guided by a weekly topic, we aim to create a space for honest and vulnerable conversations, empowering individuals to tap into their personal growth and development.

Join us on this transformative path towards recovery, connection, and community.

Recovery, much like you, is a dynamic and individual process, best led by your own compass.

Our community values this personal approach, offering the support you need to navigate your distinctive path towards healing and growth.

Non-Denominational

All pathways of recovery are supported, the only requirement is the desire to recover and the willingness to do something to get it.

Not A '12 Step' Program

Although some of the comments you hear may be associated with the 12 step fellowships we are not affiliated with them.

New Topics Every Week

Weekly discussions are based on topics related to furthering ourselves and our recovery.

All-Paths Recovery meetings are fantastic for anyone on the recovery rollercoaster!

The beauty is in the mishmash of stories and strategies. It's like getting a buffet of recovery tips, and you get to pick what suits your taste.

Plus, it's a vibe of unity – we're all on this crazy journey, just taking different paths to get there.

So, grab a seat, share your tale if you fancy, and soak in the potluck of recovery goodness. Cheers to the mishmash of life and the journey to wellness!

Frequently Asked Questions

These are the most frequently asked questions, if your query isn't answered here drop us an email at [email protected].

These online All-Paths Recovery meetings are very similar to in-person open recovery meetings. People can join from anywhere and either listen, share, or both. Participants are often in recovery, but may also be allies of the recovery community or family members and loved ones of individuals in recovery.

To ensure this space stays a safe and welcoming environment we ask that all participants follow the community guidelines outlined below.

These are open recovery meetings, which means people in or supportive of recovery from any type of behavioral health disorder or quality of life concern are welcome. No matter the program, pathway, or type of recovery you are in, this is a meeting for you. As a reminder, we typically introduce ourselves as “Hello, My name is ____ and I am a person in recovery”, but feel free to identify however is comfortable for you.

Anyone can choose to speak or share in a group, but no one is required to do so. Silently experiencing what is being shared has great value by itself.

If anyone you know, or you yourself, needs extra support, please feel to message the meeting facilitator in the meeting, or send an email to hello@theempowermentwarrior and someone will get back to you ASAP.

The money raised from participants contributions enables the running of the meetings. We find that people who invest financially also tend to be more commited with their time and energy too.

Community Standards

  • Keep it Personal: Share your experiences in meetings, and when offering feedback, focus on strengths and support, drawing from your own personal journey.
  • Spread Positivity: Be kind and supportive in your language. Avoid any harmful or confrontational behaviour, including expressions of racism, sexism, genderism, or any stigmatizing language.
  • Mindful Sharing: While honesty is encouraged, be mindful of your body language and tone. Expressing extreme anger or aggression may unintentionally cause stress or trauma for others.
  • Keep it Neutral: Avoid commenting on anyone's appearance, even if it's meant as a compliment.
  • Create Safe Spaces: If you're uncomfortable, reach out to the facilitator or email [email protected]. We're committed to making this a safe space for all.
  • Practice Patience: Everyone's recovery journey is unique. Practice patience, tolerance, and an open mind, especially when opinions differ.
  • Respect Diverse Views: Avoid bigotry or criticism related to shares on current events. Remember, the sanctity of human life and safety is not a political issue and can be discussed anytime.
  • No Criticism Zone: Criticising others for sharing personal topics is a no-go. Let's foster an environment of acceptance and understanding.
  • Zero Tolerance for Racism: We do not tolerate racism or bigotry in any form. Minimising these events in verbal shares is unacceptable. Respect the experiences of those most affected.

Let's create a community that uplifts and supports everyone on their unique journey!

If you do not agree with this approach, we are happy to help you find another recovery support meeting.
