Hello!

I'm Anna, a certified Transformational Breath® facilitator based in Norfolk, UK. I currently offer one-to-one and small group sessions for wellbeing and personal transformation.

What is Transformational Breath®?

Transformational Breath® is gentle but powerful tool that focuses on the whole respiratory system. Our breathing is closely related to our wellbeing. We can go for days without water or food but only a few minutes without breath. Breathing and good oxygenation are crucial to the proper functioning of our physical bodies.

The way we breathe can also tell us a lot about the way we live our lives. Uncomfortable experiences can lead us to literally hold our breath, this creates restricted breathing patterns that limit us. Transformational Breath® by passes the intellect and goes straight to the subconscious. Harnessing the power of our breath can be an effective and efficient way to shift these unhelpful patterns and engender positive change. Changing the way you breathe has the power to change your life.

Transformational Breath® works on three levels of our being; physical, mental/emotional and spiritual. It can:

  • aid relaxation

  • aid detoxification

  • increase energy

  • improve mental clarity & focus

  • integrate suppressed and repressed emotions

  • assist the release of unhelpful patterns

  • strengthen intuition

  • facilitate creativity

  • develop feelings of connection, joy and peace

  • offer perspective and ground presence

The Transformational Breath® Foundation was awarded Best Complementary Medicine Organisation by the Institute for Complementary and Natural Medicine in the USA. It is part of the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance. The training of all Facilitators is thorough. Accreditation involves over 100 hours of case studies, attending a first aid course and completing CPD hours each year. I have trained with Euphoric Health in Norfolk, UK, The Big Breath Company in London and with Senior Trainers Natalie Monthille and Euegnia Altemira as well as Dr Judith Kravitz, the founder of Transformational Breath®.

What happens in a session?

A session lasts around 90 minutes. We will first discuss what you would like to get out of our time together and I will take a look at your current breathing pattern. We will then delve into the facilitated part of the session for around an hour with time for relaxation and integration at the end. 

During the session, you will lie down or be seated while being coached by me to use a conscious breathing technique, I use body mapping (similar to acupressure) and affirmations to facilitate you. I also use music in the sessions and sometimes other forms of sound and movement. Loose, comfortable clothing and layers are advisable - body temperature can fluctuate as we breathe. All sessions take place in my dedicated treatment room 7 miles south of Norwich. I am also available for home visits in and around Norfolk - contact me for more details.

A bit more about me

I live in rural South Norfolk with my husband and our three school age daughters. Before life as a full time mother I worked for ten years as an Environmental Consultant all over the UK with business and industry to improve environmental performance. I found Transformational Breath® when I heard this BBC Radio 4 programme in 2018 (25 minutes in). I listened to people talking about the impact of this work and knew I wanted to find out more.  I booked a series of personal sessions and shortly afterwards embarked on the week long personal training programme. I followed that with the professional training programme to become a facilitator, finally qualifying in June 2024.

My training journey has been rich, fun, at times challenging and of course transformational!  It has assisted me in moving through and integrating unhelpful subconscious patterns, it has opened me to a grander perspective on the human experience and ultimately allowed me to find more relaxation, joy and flow in my day to day life. One of my greatest joys is breathing with others and witnessing the connection that arises when we return to the essence of our own true nature. I am very excited to be able to offer these sessions to other people and look forward to bringing this work to whoever feels called to find out more.
