Have a great day!

Who are we?
We’re not a corporate training provider. We’re a small, passionate team that cares deeply about helping early talent build careers they’re proud of.
We created the Emerging Talent Development Academy because we saw too many young professionals being overlooked after their first year. Many were left to figure things out on their own, unsure of what to say in meetings, how to stand out, or what comes next after their programme ends.
We’ve worked in early careers and career development for a number of years across industries like real estate, technology, and law, so we understand what actually helps people grow. EMDA was designed with that in mind: practical support, honest conversations, and a space to learn without pressure.
Our trainers, guest speakers and coaches are experienced professionals who’ve walked the path before, many of whom also started their careers as apprentices, first-gen graduates, or career-switchers.
You belong in the room, and we’re here to help you take up space in it.
Who is it for?
You should consider joining our programmes if you are:
An apprentice, graduate or junior professional (typically 1+ year into your role);
Ambitious, curious, and ready to grow;
Looking for a space to build confidence, expand your network, and take charge of your future;
The “first” in your family to step into a corporate, technical or professional career.

What you'll learn
We built this programme based on what young professionals told us they needed because most development courses weren’t made with people like you in mind. Over 6 months, we’ll tackle the stuff that actually matters: building confidence, navigating work culture, communicating with impact, and finding your voice, especially when you feel like you don’t quite fit the mould.
Every session is interactive, practical, and led by people who get it. Trainers, professionals, and coaches who know what it’s like to be early in your career, trying to find your feet and stand out at the same time.
Confidence & Communication at Work
Learn how to speak up in meetings, ask for what you need, and build presence without pretending to be someone you’re not. We’ll help you manage self-doubt and start owning your voice in professional spaces.
Intrapreneurship & Thinking Like a Swiss Army Knife
Companies value people who solve problems, spot opportunities, and get things done. This session is about becoming that person. No matter how junior you are, you can use your initiative and creativity to add value at work.
Navigating Remote, Hybrid & In-Person Roles
Whether you're in the office or working from your bedroom, showing up well matters. Learn how to build trust, stay visible, and manage your time and workload across different ways of working.
Using AI at Work (Without Losing Your Edge)
AI can help you work smarter, but only if you know how to use it well. You’ll learn practical, ethical ways to use AI tools while still developing real skills and avoiding over-reliance on automation.
Side Hustles, Passion Projects & Staying Balanced
We’ll explore how your interests outside of work can support your personal and professional growth. Learn how to balance ambition with well-being and how to talk about your side projects without fear.
Building Your Network & Long-Term Social Capital
Good relationships open doors. This session helps you build authentic professional connections, manage upward relationships, and think about your career with longevity.

Need help?
Don't worry, we got you. Here are some answers for your questions.
That’s exactly why this programme exists. We’re not looking for polished or perfect; we’re here to help you build confidence in your own way. Many past participants felt unsure at the start but left feeling much more self-assured and empowered.
Our programme is for current apprentices (Level 3–7) who are at least a year into their role. We will also have a pathway for graduates and junior professionals later in the year. If you’re curious, driven, and want to grow, this could be a great fit for you.
You’ll attend one main session per month (usually 90 minutes, held virtually and in person), plus optional check-ins or community events. Everything is designed to fit around your work schedule.
Yes! Everything we cover is designed to help you show up with more confidence, communicate clearly, work smarter, and make the most of your experience. You’ll also learn how to take more ownership of your growth and start building a long-term career mindset.
We have a mixture of virtual and in-person sessions to create a more dynamic experience. Dates will be shared in advance so you can plan ahead. You’ll get just as much value from joining remotely.
If your employer is sponsoring your place, they’ll let you know, and you’ll be onboarded directly through us. If they’re not involved yet, you can still apply and we’ll help you get the right info to share with them.
Yes! We offer a self-funded route with payment plans to make it more accessible. Some participants also get their manager or company to cover the cost from a training or learning budget, so it’s worth asking.
We completely understand! Some people prefer to keep this kind of development personal, especially if they’re funding it themselves. If you're self-funding and want to keep things discreet, we’ll never contact your employer or share your participation without your permission.
Your growth is yours to own, and we’ll respect your privacy every step of the way.
If at any point you do feel ready to talk to your employer about it; whether to ask for support, get time off to attend sessions, or explore company sponsorship, we can help you with that conversation. We have email templates and resources to make it easier, and we’re happy to guide you through it.
You’ll join our EMDA alumni community, where you can stay connected with others, attend follow-up events, and continue building your network and confidence!
