The first Archipelago Festival of Colour will be brought to you by Talú and Willow and Lore.
So, what is it? An immersive weekend celebration of all things natural colour! This intimate festival is the first of its kind in Ireland and the UK, dedicated entirely to natural dyes, pigments, and inks, honouring the Land that provides them.
Picture yourself at a weekend-long picnic on a dreamy traditional farm in the Northern Irish countryside, surrounded by fellow colour fairies, alchemists and the occasional hedge witch. You'll be able to participate in workshops, conversations, fun and colourful activities and meet other colour practitioners. Witness the creation of a naturally-coloured mural in real-time by the festival artist in residence or engage in some inky divination! Camping, glamping and B&B accommodation will be available and we'll have delicious homemade food, tea and coffee to keep us nourished throughout.

Saturday 27 July will be a day for workshops and specialised talks. You can expect deep ecology work, workshops on cyanotype printing and toning, votive charcoal making, fireside stories and inspiring presentations by master natural dyers. Other colourful experiences will be sprinkled throughout the day to make this an unforgettable gathering of new BFFs! Tickets to this day will be very limited to allow for a more personalised experience in an intimate group setting.
Sunday 28 July will be an open family festival which can be attended by people of all ages and experiences! You can expect a special colourful meditation for children, exhibitions, inky divination, live painting and other demonstrations, talks, a community indigo vat, a colourful treasure hunt and other games, as well as vendors of supplies and finished products. Perfect for a family day out celebrating creativity and Nature's colourful gifts!
