Itinerary


Day 1 

Arrival in Havana (Rest & Light Exploration)

• Arrive in Havana – Check in to your accommodation.
• Leisurely Walk in Old Havana (Habana Vieja) – Explore Plaza Vieja, Plaza de la Catedral, and Plaza de Armas.
• Dinner & Early Rest – Enjoy a relaxed Cuban meal and prepare for the week ahead.

Day 2 

Old Havana – Culture & Nightlife

Rum Museum (Museo del Ron Havana Club) – Learn about Cuba’s rum-making history.
• Cigar Factory Visit – Tour Real Fábrica de Tabacos Partagás or another traditional cigar-making site.
• Buena Vista Social Club Show – Experience live Cuban music and dance in the evening.

Day 3 

Yoruba Spirituality & Ifá/Orisa Community

• Yoruba Cultural Museum (Casa de África) – Explore the Yoruba presence in Cuba and its spiritual significance.
• Meet Ifá/Orisa Practitioners – Connect with local babalawos or santeros for spiritual discussions and insights.
• Afro-Cuban Dance or Music Performance (Optional) – Experience a live rumba or batá drumming session.

Day 4 

Regla & Yemoja

• Ferry to Regla – Enjoy the scenic ride across Havana Bay.
• Basilica of Our Lady of Regla – Visit this sacred site dedicated to Yemoja, witness or participate in spiritual practices.
• Lunch in Regla & Explore Local Culture
• Beach Time – Playas del Este – Relax at a nearby beach before returning to Havana.

Day 5

Oshun & Spiritual Pilgrimage

• Basilica del Cobre (Santuario de Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Cobre) – Visit Cuba’s sacred shrine dedicated to Oshun.
• Relaxation & Reflection – Spend the evening reflecting on the spiritual experiences so far.

Day 6

Matanzas, San Severino Castle & Cenote

• Matanzas – The Afro-Cuban Capital – Explore the city, known for its strong African heritage, music, and poetry.
• San Severino Castle (Castillo de San Severino de Matanzas) – Learn about Cuba’s colonial history, the African diaspora, and the transatlantic slave trade.
• Cueva Saturno (Cenote) – Swim in the underground crystal-clear waters near Varadero.
• Beach Time (Varadero or Matanzas area) – Unwind on Cuba’s stunning beaches.

Day 7 

Departure from Havana

• Breakfast & Last-Minute Shopping – Pick up souvenirs from Old Havana or local artisans.
• Transfer to Airport – Depart for the U.S.
